4  I made pieces of paper with a number, your name in romaji, and your name in katakana  The number on the left is your CLASS NUMBER that the TAs and I will use when grading (easier to find your name on the chart). Please put this number on all HW and tests from now on.  For this semester, you don’t have to learn how to WRITE katakana, but I would like you to at learn how to at least write your name. You must learn how to read it though  If you have any questions, pull me over during class YOUR NAME!

5  If you miss a Chapter Quiz, send me an email. I sent one out this time, but won’t in the future.  If you can explain to my why you were absent, I will allow a make-up for -10%. If it is is an excused absence, then I won’t take the 10%  I drop the lowest grammar, and the lowest writing/listening test (even if they are different chapters)  I’ll pass back the tests next class FOR TESTS
