3 歴史 1994年に制定 1998年１１月:　シカゴ会議 1999年５月: 　グラナダ会議 ５年目の再検討時期である XML版が検討されている

4 仕様の入手 DTDのみはWebで入手可能 仕様書はISOで購入 国内では日本規格協会
仕様書はISOで購入 フロッピー付き ISO で書かれた仕様書ファイル SGMLビューア(Windows 3.1対応) 国内では日本規格協会 約２万円で１ヶ月程度
