Theme & Research Background-テーマと研究背景 Theme of 2016 In-Motion Wireless Power Transfer System 走行式非接触給電システム Background-背景 The progress of Global Warming, Oil depletion problems 地球温暖化、石油枯渇問題が進行 The emergence of electric vehicles(EV)電気自動車の登場 Our theme of 2016 is in-motion wireless power transfer system We will advance research in a compound area with another lab team of power electronics center Our responsible is power system control So we research how much electric capacity it needs, how many car use this system per hour, and so on... Next I will talk about research background Nowadays, global warming and oil depletion problems are progressing Then, electric vehicles appeared But electric vehicle has a lot of problems For example, travel distance is short and charging takes time So we have to prove the problems EV has a lot of problems 電気自動車は課題がある Ex) Travel distance is short 走行距離が短い Charging takes time 充電に手間がかかる etc Power system control-電力系統制御 電気工学科 藤田吾郎 教授 Department of Electrical Engineering Professor Goro Fujita Power Electronics center

4 Purpose-目的 Targets-対象 Developing the convenience of EV 電気自動車の利便性を向上 Highway-高速道路 ・tunnel-トンネル ・speed limit-速度制限がある ・traffic jam-渋滞が多い ・a lot of demand-需要が多い Weight-saving the battery 電池の軽量化が可能 Saving the trouble of charging 充電の手間が省ける Reducing the risk of electrification 感電の危険性が減る etc Our purpose is developing the convenience of electric vehicles We think in-motion wireless power transfer system can save weight of the battery And save the trouble of charging and reduce the risk of electrification As a result, we think it lead to the promotion of electric vehicles Our targets are highway Especially road there is tunnel and a speed limit, it has traffic jam, a lot of demand etc... We would like to introduce this system in highway! Leading to the promotion of EV EVの普及に繋がる

3.Current Works-現在の研究 5 I’ll talk about current work
We are making the production of demonstration device Then we suppose the real electric vehicle by making this demonstration device And use the lego’s train to demonstration device And perform switching of the power transmission coil by Lab VIEW We analyze this in-motion wireless power transmission system by using this demonstration device

4.Goal & Schedule-目標とスケジュール Goal-目標 Schedule-スケジュール Construction of demonstration system デモンストレーションシステムの構築 Modularization & Construction of Lab VIEW モジュール化、Lab VIEWの構築 Modularization モジュール化 Simplification of experiment 実験の簡易化 Creating program プログラム作製 Making numerical model of traffic volume 交通量データの数値モデル化 Next, I’ll talk about goal and schedule We have two goals First, we would like to construct demonstration system We’ll simplify experiment of this system by modularization of electrical circuit and creating Lab VIEW program Second, we would like to suggest the operation system We’ll investigate of operation system by making numerical model of traffic volume and analyze experiment result This is the schedule to success this goal We’ll finish modularization and construction of Lab VIEW Making numerical model of traffic volume Analysis of experimental result and optimization by summer Then we’ll finish capacity investigation of charging facility Reduction of distribution loss Suggestion of the operation system by autumn Analysis of experimental result & Optimization 実験結果の解析・最適化 Summer Suggestion of the operation system 運用方法の提言 Capacity investigation of charging facility 設備容量の検討 Reduction of distribution loss 配電ロスの低減 Traffic volume data 交通量データ Investigation of operation system 運用方法の検討 Experiment result 実験結果 Suggestion of the operation system 運用方法の提言 Autumn
