Windows Summit 2010 2018/11/7 デモ Windows 7 の [デバイスと プリンター] のツアー (続き) 3 つ目にご紹介するのは、デバイス リボンと呼ばれる機能です。一番上のこの領域です。今は、デバイ スやプリンターを追加するためのボタンが並んでいます。では、別のデバイスを選択したらデバイス リ ボンがどうなるかを見ていてください。メモリ スティックをクリックしてみましょう。すると、リボン に表示されていたタスクが変わりました。先ほどお見せしたジャンプ リストのタスクと同じもので、自 動再生、デバイスの参照、デバイスの取り外しを実行できます。このインターフェイスはプリンターに とても適しています。何を印刷しているか一目でわかりますし、印刷設定も管理できます。必要なら、 [デバイスとプリンター] からデバイスを削除することもできます。これは、デバイスの情報を確認した り、リンクをクリックしてデバイスとの対話をすばやく開始するためのもう 1 つの方法なのです。 最後は、ダブルクリックについてお話ししましょう。先ほどご説明したように、アイコンは右クリック、 左クリック、ダブルクリックといった方法でクリックすることができます。ただし、ダブルクリックで 実行される動作は、デバイス メーカーが指定した動作になります。たとえば、ネットワーク プリン ターをダブルクリックすると、このプリンターの印刷キューが表示され、キューに入っているドキュメ ントを確認できます。メモリ スティックをダブルクリックした場合は、別の動作が実行されるはずです。 デバイスのプロパティが表示されました。現在接続していないデバイスもダブルクリックできます。た とえば、自宅のプリンターをダブルクリックすると、Device Stage ウィンドウが開き、プリンターの 情報が表示されます。もちろん、現在ホーム ネットワークに接続していませんので、何を印刷中かは確 認できません。これは Jim Barber による「デバイス エクスペリエンスの概要」というセッションの Device Stage の説明内容と一致しているので、このデバイスに最適なエクスペリエンスが適用されて いるようです。このエクスペリエンスをサポートするデバイス クラスは、まだ一部に限られています。 ここでは Device Stage が例に出てきたので、簡単にご紹介しました。 最後に、デバイスのインストールと [デバイスとプリンター] フォルダーへのアイコンの追加を簡単に 実行するための、いくつかのインターフェイスをご紹介します。デバイスをインストールするには、ワ イヤレス デバイスや Bluetooth デバイスを使用できます。USB デバイスの場合は、差し込むだけでイ ンストールが開始されます。ワイヤレス デバイスと Bluetooth デバイスの場合は、[デバイスの追加] をクリックします。すると、Windows がデバイスの検出を開始し、このウィンドウに追加するための 処理が行われます。後はダイアログ ボックスの指示に従ってデバイスを PC に関連付け、[デバイスと プリンター] フォルダーにアイコンが表示されるのを待ちます。プリンターの場合も同じです。[プリン ターの追加] をクリックすると、ローカル プリンターとネットワーク プリンターのどちらを追加する か質問されるので、ウィザードの一連の指示に従って PC にプリンターを関連付け、使用できるように します。さらに、動作の正常性を確かめるためにテスト ページを印刷することもできます。 © 2010 Microsoft Corporation.
