5 The Earthquake triggered powerful tsunami waves 地震は巨大津波を引き起こした
40.5m(133f) high tsunami in Iwate. Traveled inland as far as 10km(6 miles) in Sendai, Miyagi. 岩手県では40.5 mの 高さの津波を記録。 宮城県仙台市の内陸10キロメートルまで入り込んだ。

The day after the earthquake, the nuclear accidents happened, causing the radiation contamination to spread far and wide. 地震の後、原発事故が発生。 放射能汚染が広がった。

19 JDF(Japan Disability Forum) has sent more than 8,000 support staff from around Japan to disaster-stricken areas. JDF（日本障害フォーラム）は、全国から集まった８０００人以上の支援員を派遣してきた。

20 In Minami-soma, Fukushima, JDF conducted a survey on actual situation of registered persons with disabilities. 福島県南相馬市では、ＪＤＦが障害のある人たちの実態調査を実施した。

21 Lawyers also supported persons with disabilities to file a claim for nuclear accidents.
弁護士もまた、障害のある人たちの原発事故の賠償請求支援に取り組んでいる。
