現在進行形 be ＋ ～ing

3 She is coming soon. 彼女はすぐに来ます。 I am coming back soon. すぐに戻ります。

4 soon tonight tomorrow this weekend
Present continuous tense is also used to talk about plans of near future. soon e.g. tonight tomorrow this weekend

5 Present continuous tense is not used to make a prediction.
☓ e.g. It’s raining tomorrow. It will rain tomorrow. It’s going to rain tomorrow. 明日、雨が降るだろう。

6 be going to するつもり be ＋ ～ing することになっている

7 questions Present continuous e.g. Are you doing anything tomorrow?
あなたは明日何かしますか？ I am playing tennis tomorrow. わたしは明日テニスをします。

8 Let’s practice! What are you doing this weekend?
あなたは 今週末 何をしますか。 I am going to the library this weekend. わたしは 今週末 図書館へ行きます。

9 Let’s　practice! They are leaving Japan tomorrow.　 彼らは 明日日本を出発します。
