Slang やばい = dangerous -Yaba was the name for archery ranges during the Edo era.(they were sex- shops) パニくる = panicked -From English “panic” うざい = annoying
お & ご お is used for the Japanese reading of words ご is used for the Chinese reading. Ex. Okosan is Japanese for child.
女房言葉 (Courtesan Words) Women in the Muromachi period created words beginning with O おなら: fart おなか: stomach (なか means “inside”) おにぎり: onigiri (rice ball)
