There are 5 wearing verbs in Japanese depending on the part of body or the item being worn. かぶっています wearing on the head かけています wearing glasses etc. しています wearing accessories きています wearing from the waist up はいています wearing from the waist down きています wearing over the whole body These verbs are in the continuous verb form. It shows that you are wearing “now”. There are other forms of these verbs for general comments about wearing clothes. See page 36 for these verbs used in sentences in the song. Use the particle を after the clothing you wear.
