Choke mode cathode Breakdown at cathode rod is one of the problem. New gun will be choke structure. Dummy cathode rod is used. No cathode, all copper.

Conclusion The availability of the choke mode RF cut was confirmed in 6-1 conditioning station. New CDS RF gun fabrication and beam line design are ongoing. CDS RF gun has 60 or 0 degree laser injection ports. The 0 degree injection operation is checked in new beam line.
