3 Genesis (創世記) 2:4b-5 When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens -- and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, 主なる神が地と天を造られたとき、地上にはまだ野の木も、野の草も生えていなかった。主なる神が地上に雨をお送りにならなかったからである。また土を耕す人もいなかった。

4 Genesis (創世記) 2:6-7 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground --the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. しかし、水が地下から湧き出て、土の面をすべて潤した。主なる神は、土（アダマ）の塵で人（アダム）を形づくり、その鼻に命の息を吹き入れられた。人はこうして生きる者となった。

In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 主なる神は、東の方のエデンに園を設け、自ら形づくった人をそこに置かれた。主なる神は、見るからに好ましく、食べるに良いものをもたらすあらゆる木を地に生えいでさせ、また園の中央には、命の木と善悪の知識の木を生えいでさせられた。

[11] The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. エデンから一つの川が流れ出ていた。園を潤し、そこで分かれて、四つの川となっていた。第一の川の名はピションで、金を産出するハビラ地方全域を巡っていた。

The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. その金は良質であり、そこではまた、琥珀の類やラピス・ラズリも産出した。第二の川の名はギホンで、クシュ地方全域を巡っていた。第三の川の名はチグリスで、アシュルの東の方を流れており、第四の川はユーフラテスであった。

19 Acts (使徒言行録) 5:30-31 The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead--whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. わたしたちの先祖の神は、あなたがたが木につけて殺したイエスを復活させられました。神はイスラエルを悔い改めさせ、その罪を赦すために、この方を導き手とし、救い主として、御自分の右に上げられました。

Revelation (黙示録) 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. 耳ある者は、“霊”が諸教会に告げることを聞くがよい。勝利を得る者には、神の楽園にある命の木の実を食べさせよう。 How do we overcome? We overcome by casting aside fear and doubt and living in faith and repentance from sins. We overcome by trusting in Jesus’ victory over sin and death. Are you ready to overcome faithlessness, fear, and doubt? Are you ready to wholly trust Jesus in Jesus as your Savior and Lord?
