2 1 校友の皆さん、こんにちは。Hello all alumni, APU校友会 代表の吉田聖崇です。My name is Seitaka Yoshida – the representative of APU Alumni Association. この資料では、校友の皆さんが校友会に参加することで得られるメリットをまとめ ました。 In this material we have summed up all the merits of your joining Alumni Association. APU校友会は以下の２つをビジョンとして掲げています。 The two points below are the visions of APU Alumni Association ・Global family ・自己実現 Self- Accomplishment これらを達成するために様々な制度を用意し、 イベントを行っております。As to achieve these visions we are conducting events as well as introducing systems. ぜひ、校友会を利用し、 APUならではのネットワークの構築や、 自己実現に向けて活動をしてください！ We hope you will join Alumni Association and through it become able to achieve self-accomplishments in such a special network like APU. ご挨拶 / Greetings

3 2 エグゼクティブサマリ / Executive Summary APUを卒業された皆さんはAPU校友会の正会員です。 APU校友会を活用することで、皆さんには様々なメリットがあります。 All of you who graduated from APU are APU Alumni Association Full members. By utilizing APU Alumni Association, you will receive plenty of advantages. ・校友同士の新たなネットワークの構築ができます。 You will have a new network with other alumni. ・本業（ビジネス）ではできない、自己実現ができます。 You can attain self-accomplishment- what you cannot do in your main business. これらの手段として下記３つがあります。There are 3 ways to enable these advantages: ・チャプターの活動に参加する By joining activities held by Chapter. ・Alumni Groupを設立する、参加する By establishing and joining Alumni Group. ・プロジェクトを設立する、参加する By establishing and joining Projects. また、スタッフとして活動される皆さんには、金銭や人的なサポートも受けられます。 Also, for those who join as staff, you will be receiving financial support and help in the aspect of human resources. ・APU校友会を活用する方法とそのメリットについて説明します。 We would like to explain how to utilize the association as well as the merits.

6 5 APU 校友会への関わり方（チャプターの活動 ) / How to get involved (Chapter’s activities) ・チャプターでは、皆さんの自己実現のために、 またネットワークの構築のために様々な活動を行っています。 In Chapter, we are conducting a lot of activities for composing a new net work and for your self-accomplishment. 【活動例】Examples ・年に一度の総会 ・懇親会 ・勉強会、セミナー ・社会見学 等 ・The annual General Assembly ・Convivial Party ・Study meeting ・Seminar ・ Field trip etc. ① チャプター ② Alumni Group ③ Project

8 7 ・メリット：懇親会でビジネスネットワークの構築に成功 Merit: Being successful in building Business Network at Convivial Party ■実際にあったエピソード例 A real episode 東京に住んでいる日本人のAさん。Mr. A -a Japanese who lives in Tokyo インターネットビジネスで起業したいと考えており、同志を探していました。 He was thinking of opening an online business so he was searching for partners. そんな時たまたま参加した、東京チャプターのイベント。 And at that time he happened to come to an event of Tokyo Chapter. Aさんはインド出身のBさんと初めて知り合いになります。 There he met Mr. B from India. Bさんはインド出身で日系企業でエンジニアをしており、 いまの職場環境には満足していましたが、Aさんのビジョンに共感。 Mr. B was an engineer working for a Japanese company, he was satisfied with his job but at the same time have interest in Mr. A’s vision. APUという共通のバックグランドを持つAさんとBさんが信頼しあうのには そう時間はかかりませんでした。 Sharing the same education background as APU helps Mr. A and Mr. B trust each other more quickly. 彼らは共同でインターネットビジネスの会社を設立することになりました。 現在は、お互いの目標に向けて頑張っています。 They became business partners and together established an online company. 9 8 ① チャプター ② Alumni Group ③ Project APU 校友会への関わり方（ Chapter’s activities ） 活動例：タイチャプター Ex: Thai Chapter チャプターでは社会貢献活動も行っており、皆さんも 企画や参加ができます。 ここでは、タイチャプターの活動を紹介します。 In Chapter we not only provide volunteer and charity activities but also give you chances to create activities on your own. ・7月27日 Ratchabri Homeにて子供達への支援 Jul27th Support children in Ratchabri Home 子供達への支援＠Ratchabri home Support children in Ratchabri home →脳障害の子供達への支援＆寄付 Support and donate to children with encephalopathy ■参加者：19人 Participants: 19ppl ■寄付 ：56,939 タイバーツ（約180,000JPY） Donate: 56,939 Thai baht (approx 180,000JPY) ※おむつやティッシュペーパー、ゴミ袋、トイレクリーナ ーなどの生活必需品を含む Including necessities such as Toilet cleaner, Trash bags, Tissue and Diaper etc.

10 9 ① チャプター ② Alumni Group ③ Project APU 校友会への関わり方（ Chapter’s activities ） 活動例：大分・福岡チャプター Ex: Oita・Fukuoka Chapter チャプターの活動では、ビーチバレーなど懇親を目的 としたイベントも開催されています。 また、チャプターが合同で企画するイベントも開催さ れます。 For Chapter’s activities, we have been holding events such as Beach Volleyball etc. Also, Chapter Oita and Fukuoka are collaborating to hold many events. 別府市餅が浜で、大分・福岡チャプター合同のビーチバレ ー大会が開催されました。 We have held a Beach Volleyball match between Oita and Fukuoka chapters in Mochigahama, Beppu City. 2004 年卒～ 2010 年卒の校友や、校友の友人の参加もあり 30 名を超える校友が集いました。 More than 30 alumni who graduated from 2004 to 2010 have gathered and participated. また、終了後にはビーチ清掃も行い地域貢献も出来たイベ ントを開催する事が出来ました。 After the match everybody cleaned the beach and had some meaningful volunteer activities as well.

11 10 活動例：就職活動イベント Ex: Event for Job Hunting ■メンバー：日本国内6チャプター（関東・関西・中部・中四国・福岡・大分） Member: 6 domestic Chapters (Kanto・Kansai・Chubu・Chushikoku・Fukuoka・Oita) ■活動場所：日本各地 Place : All over Japan ■活動目的：APUの現役学生の就職活動をサポート Purpose : To support current APU students with their job hunting. ■活動内容： ・APU卒業生が就活体験や会社の実情について忌憚なく学生と語り合う。 ・Skypeを用いて、日本各地の卒業生と学生を結ぶ （e.g.大分の学生が、関東で働く先輩とSkypeで話すことができる） Content: ・APU alumni will share their job hunting experiences and business life. ・Creating bonds between alumni all over Japan and current students via Skype. 13 12 ・Alumni Groupは皆さんの興味関心を中長期的にサポートする 制度です。 Alumni Group is the system that supports your interests in a medium – long term. チャプターの活動との違い How Alumni Group is different from Chapter. ・特定のことに対して、興味を持った校友のみが集う組織が、Alumni Groupです。 （チャプターの活動は、校友の“様々”な興味・関心に応える活動を行います） Alumni Group is where people who share the same interest in a particular topic gather and work as a group. 14 13 活動例：起業家ネットワーク Ex: Network for entrepreneurs ■メンバー：10名 Member : 10 ppl ■活動場所：主に東京 Place : Mostly Tokyo ■活動目的：起業に関心を持つ校友が集い、起業に関する知識交換・意見交換を行います。 Purpose : Alumni who are interested in starting a business can assemble and share their knowledge and ideas about how to start a business. ■活動内容： ・起業をした校友から体験談を聞く。 ・自分のビジネスアイデアに対して意見をもらう。 ・新たなビジネスパートナーを見つける。 Content : ・Listen to stories from alumni who already started their business. ・Receive opinions for your own business ideas. ・Find a new business partner. ① チャプター ② Alumni Group ③ Project APU 校友会への関わり方（ Alumni Group ） How to be involved

15 14 活動例：One of Stages“APU”を母校へ Ex: One of Stages, Bring “APU” to your old high schools ■メンバー：附属校グループ（附属校出身の卒業生で結成） Member : Group of affiliated schools ( consisted of alumni from affiliated schools) ■活動場所：立命館学園の附属高校 Place : Ritsumeikan Academy’s affiliated high school. ■活動目的：進路選択を目前にした後輩（高校生）及び保護者にAPUの紹介を行い、 APUへ進学した際のイメージを持ってもらう Purpose : Introduce APU to parents as well as high school students who are about to make an important decision for their future path. 16 15 活動例：One of Stages“APU”を母校へ Ex: One of Stages, Bring “APU” to your old high schools  活動内容： ・冊子の配布  APUの現役学生及び卒業生にインタビューを行い、キャンパスライフの生の声を聞く。  その内容もとに冊子を作成。母校へ配付する。  予定）卒業生と高校生の交流会の実施  Content : ・Distribute booklets  Conduct interviews with both alumni and current students.  Create booklet based on the content of the interviews. 17 16 活動例：ドリームズクラブ Ex: Dreams Club ■メンバー：15名 Members: 15 ppl ■活動場所：東京、大阪 Place : Tokyo, Osaka ■活動目的：児童養護施設の子供達に“世界や社会のこと”を知ってもらう。 Purpose : Let the children from orphanage know about “world and society”. ■活動内容： ・海外のイベントを実施（ハロウィン、中国の旧正月、イースターエッグなど） ・英語の絵本を読む ・お仕事紹介（シティーバンカーによるお金の話、CAについてなど） ・海外のゲーム（世界のジャンケン紹介、インドネシアのスプーンリレーなど） Content : ・Carry out overseas events (Halloween, Lunar New Year, Easter Eggs etc. ) ・Read English picture books. ・Introduce jobs ( story about money by City Bank Officer, CA etc.) ・Overseas games ( introducing “Rock-Scissors-Paper” versions all over the world, Indonesia’s Spoon Relay etc.) ① チャプター ② Alumni Group ③ Project APU 校友会への関わり方（ Alumni Group ） How to be involved

22 21 活動例：音楽イベント＠東京 Ex: Music Event @ Tokyo ■企画者：関東在住のAPU卒業生 Planner : APU alumni who is living in Kanto ■出演者：APU卒業生を中心にした14名 Performer : 14 ppl who are also APU alumni ■活動場所：原宿（東京） Place : Harajuku (Tokyo) ■活動の成果： ①音楽を通して、旧友との再会はもちろん、卒業年度を超えた新たな繋がりが構築できた。 ②日頃の練習の成果を披露する場ができたことで、ライクワークの充実（自己実現）に繋 がった。 Activity’s result : ①Through music, new bonds were created, along with reunion among old friends. ②Self-accomplishment was achieved, since from this event alumni will have a new place for them to show others what they got after days and days of practice. ① チャプター ② Alumni Group ③ Project APU 校友会への関わり方（プロジェクト） How to be involved (Project)

26 25 参考： APU 校友会活用のメリット（スタッフ編） / Reference: The merits of joining APU Alumni Association (Staff) Ⅰ. APU校友会から予算の補助を受けられます。 Budget subsidy from APU Alumni Association Ⅱ. APU校友会のメディアを利用できます（HP、Facebook、メーリングリスト） Media utilization provided by APU Alumni Association (HP, Facebook, Mailing list etc.) Ⅲ. ボードチーム、事務局から人的サポートが受けられます。 Support in human resources from Board Team and Secretariat. ・チャプターのスタッフや、グループ／プロジェクトの設立・メンバーとして活 動される皆さんは、様々な支援が受けられます。 For people who join our association as Chapter’s staffs, Group/Project’s establishers or members, you will receive plenty of supports. ＊なお、利用には一定の条件がある為、ご利用頂けない場合があります。 Since there are some certain conditions for the activation of these rights, there are cases these rights can not be applied if the conditions are not fulfilled.

28 Reference: More details about the procedure to establish Alumni Group (taken from HP) 1.Sign up process Fill in essential information into the sign up application then send to APU Alumni Association Secretariat.
