How to make Plain Negative Form? Make plain negative form and change い into かった. ※Plain Negative form Group1 1) take off ます 2) Change the sound before ます into “a” sound and put ない in the end. Group2 Take off ます and put ない. Group3 来ます→来ない＜こない＞ します→しない

行かなかった ＜いかなかった＞ （to go）
おわります Group 1
おわらなかった （to finish）
教えます Group 2
教えなかった ＜おしえなかった＞ （to teach）
勉強します Group ３
